County Republicans Meet
The Idaho County Republicans held a meeting on November 17 at the Super 8 meeting room in Grangeville. We invited Greg Pruett of the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance as guest speaker, his comments focused on fighting against proposed laws that would infringe on our 2nd Amendment rights to protect ourselves with a gun, if necessary, and to overturn or repeal laws that infringe on our self-protecting rights represented by owning a gun. He is encouraging voting out politicians that do not defend or believe we have a right to protect ourselves and voting in those that do. He is working with businesses, Universities and other groups to encourage them to acknowledge a citizens right to protect themselves and to exercise their 2nd amendment rights and he is working continue to remind citizens the importance and necessity to exercise their 2nd amendment rights without opposition of fear laden and doubt casting elected officials who seem to oppose those who wish to protect themselves. (Without the inherent right to protect oneself none of the other amendments would exist). They also held a drawing for a gun. 1st prize, a DPMS AR-15 ORCLE was won by Noah/Nick Arnzen 2nd prize a Ruger 22 Charger won by Morris Arnzen and 3rd prize was won by Deanne Hall. In a straw poll for President, Ted Cruz was the winner. Thanks to all who attended and we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year! |
