competes at Clearwater Classic
For the first time in many years the Prairie wrestling team competed at the Clearwater Classic Tournament in Lewiston. Only 1 wrestler was available to compete though with freshman Conrad Duman getting eliminated after just 2 matches. Duman, wrestling at 145 lbs., lost to Tanner Schmidt of Potlatch by pin in 1:37. In the consolation round he lost to Triston Keith of Medical Lake, Wash., also by pin in 1:55.6. Jaice Perrin and Jayce Huling, both sophomores, were with family during the holidays and freshman Caleb McWilliams has a back injury and is done for the season. Next action for the wrestling team is at Orofino this Friday and Saturday. Conrad Duman faces off against a wrestler from Medical Lake, Washington at the Clearwater Classic Wrestling tournament this past Saturday at Lewiston.
