The new year is a off to a busy start here at the library. We are excited to see the plans moving along to improve the basement at City hall. The access to the library will be upgraded to make it easier for all of our patrons....no stairs! This should be good news for all seniors. Hopefully, this will encourage everyone to check out all the improvements made in the library. There is Wi Fi, Internet access, fax machine and printers as well as a continuing stream of new books in every category. Local history is always a good read. New fiction, biographies, children's books, non fiction are offered. We welcome your suggestions, this is after all, your library, your ideas are helpful. Kudos to all the people working to continue making our little community such a great place to live. The library board meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 1:00. Visitors are welcome to attend if interested in sharing your ideas for improving our service. Happy New Year to all. Bev Christensen |
