Tour of Gem Chain Bar Wed March 23rd; 5:30 – 6:30pm By: Kim & Rick Peterson; Cost: $10 At: Grangeville Do you know what types of items are being manufactured on the Camas Prairie? Gem Chain Bar invites you to tour their plant in Grangeville. You will see raw material being cut on a water jet and then machined on a CNC machining center. The part will then move through an inspection and quality control process, get powder coated, travel through the final QC and be boxed for shipment. Gem Chain Bar employs twelve people and they ship their products globally! They are donating their instructor fees to scholarships so your tuition fee will go to support kids. |
