Krogh named players of the year
Prairie’s Jake Bruner and Summit’s Tyler Krogh were each named player of the year in their respective basketball divisions of the White Pine League. Bruner was named the Division 1 player of the year and was also named to the first team all-league team. Terran Peery received honorable mention. Krogh was named the Division 2 player of the year while Summit coach Ron Frei received coach of the year honors in Division 2. Krogh and Patrick Chmelik were named to the first team all-league. All-Star Basketball games Prairie High School and Summit Academy have had players selected to compete in the District II All-Star Games that was played at Lapwai Wednesday, March 9 with the girls game starting at 6 p.m. and the boys game to follow. For the girls South team Prairie’s Hailey Danly and Shayla VonBargen have been selected for the team. For the boys South team Prairie’s Jake Bruner and Summit’s Dean Stubbers have been selected for the team. |
