project awarded grant by Northwest Farm Credit
Northwest Farm Credit Services is proud to award the Cottonwood School District in Cottonwood, Idaho, a $1,500 Northwest FCS Rural Community Grant. "Cottonwood School District and the Prairie High School track and field program is excited to accept this rural grant to add much needed facilities improvements to our school’s track and field complex,” said Prairie High School Teacher and Track Coach Ryan Hasselstrom. “We plan on using the funding to renovate our horizontal jumping facility that is used by students in our school's programs as well as by our local community.” Northwest FCS is committed to helping rural communities succeed. In 2015, Northwest FCS awarded 62 rural grants totaling more than $134,000. Since the program’s inception in 2007, the company has presented 464 rural grants totaling more than $948,000. The next rural grant deadline is June 1, 2016.
