Congratulations to the students of the month.  Our students made such a positive impression with staff this month that we had 20 different students nominated for students of the month!  From left are Sierra Latimer, Calvin Hinkelman and Jade Peery, high school students of the month and Pixie Jones, junior high student of the month. Sierra is involved in so many activities.  She is a major force behind the success of activities, to include dances, Prairie League, Senior Class and Prom. Calvin is hardworking and a pleasure to have in class.  He is a great help with the office staff. Jade is a ray of sunshine at all times.  She is kind and compassionate to everyone around her.  Her work ethic in classes is exceptional! Pixie has a great attitude every day! She does more than you ask her to do because her work ethic is awesome.  She is a great kid. Photo by Ryan Hasselstrom. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Construction is proceeding on the new BLM office building as the roof was being shingled Tuesday morning. This photo shows how the building looks from the southeast. Click on the photo for a larger view.

The new BLM equipment and vehicle shed looks to be nearing completion, at least the outside portion. Click on the photo for a larger view.

A better look at the new Community Hall handicapped access ramp than what we had a few weeks ago. The canopy above has been shingled and the shingles were getting painted this week. We would imagine handrails will be added. The new door, pictured below, is on the left near the end of the ramp. Click on the photo for a larger view.

The new downstairs door in the Cottonwood Community Hall that leads to the handicapped access ramp has been installed and framed in. Click on the photo for a larger view.
