for North Idaho Awards
Several Prairie High School teams and athletes as well as a Summit Academy athlete have been nominated for North Idaho Awards, which will be awarded at the 54th Annual North Idaho Sports Banquet set for Saturday, April 9 at the Coeur d’Alene Inn. The banquet will start at 5:30 p.m. Athletes nominated from Prairie were Krystin Uhlenkott, 1A-3A Volleyball; Jake Bruner, 1A-3A boys basketball; Angela Wemhoff, 1A-3A girls basketball; Jake Bruner and Isaiah Shears, 1A-3A Football; and Jake Bruner, Male Athlete of the Year, 1A-3A. For Summit Academy Tyler Krogh was nominated for 1A-3A boys basketball. Teams nominated were Prairie Football for Male Team of the Year 1A-3A and Prairie Volleyball for Female Team of the Year, 1A-3A. Cheyenne Hudson, Prairie Volleyball, was nominated for Female Coach of the Year 1A-3A and Ryan Hasselstrom, Prairie Football, was nominated for Male Coach of the Year 1A-3A.
