wins 2 events at Meet of Champions
Mykaela McWilliams won 2 events and was second in two others at the District II Meet of Champions held at Sweeney Track in Lewiston Thursday, May 5. McWilliams won the 100 meter hurdles in 16.70 and the 300 meter hurdles in 48.92. She also finished 2nd in the long jump at 15’10” and anchored the second place 4x400 relay with Jordyn Higgins, Chaye Uptmor and Laney Uhlenkott which had a time of 4:25.75. Uptmor had a third place finish in the 800 in 2:32.56 and was fourth in the 1600 in 5:46.15. Uhlenkott was third in the 400 in 1:04.73 and fifth in the 200 in 29.15. Higgins was 9th in the 800 in 2:44.01. Kristyna Krogh was 7th in the 3200 in 13:21.42 and 9th in the 1500 in 6:03.49. Theresa Wemhoff was 12th in the 100 in 14.53. Madison Ulmer was 13th in the discus at 75’3”. The 4x200 team of Wemhoff, Uptmor, Higgins and Uhlenkott placed 7th in 2:00.86. For the boys team Lucas Wemhoff placed 10th in the 400 in 56.22. Sean Spencer was 11th in the 1600 in 4:52.36. Grant Gehring was 13th in the 3200 in 11:36.12. The 4x200 relay team of Ray Zhang, Raice Dalgliesh, Spencer and Wemhoff was 7th in 1:42.66. The same fourth made up the 4x400 team which also placed 7th in 3:58.10.
