The first practice for Prairie football will be August 15th at 7pm. All athletes need to purchase spirit pack items from the following link: https://kimmel.itemorder.com/ and use Sale Code: TQYSB You will see that the shirt and shorts are required items. The cost of these are $20.90. There will also be a $30 charge for practice jersey that will be paid to the school in September. Please look over the other items and complete the purchase **The Deadline is July 17th**. The order will be sent to Coach Hasselstrom at the school and then will be distributed. As parents if you would like to order also just add your items to the order. New football officials needed Recruitment is under way for new football officials for high school and junior high school football in Idaho’s District 2. The first meeting, which is the annual state clinic, is held Monday, August 1 at 7 p.m. at the Lewiston High School Auditorium. Additional meetings will take place throughout the month of August before games begin the last full week of August. Games continue through mid-November. Officials in Idaho’s District 2 work junior high up to varsity level games at more than 15 schools, stretching from Grangeville to Potlatch. Games take place nearly every night of the week with most varsity games reserved for Friday nights. Officials can expect to work 2-3 games per week, depending upon other commitments they may have. To register online, visit the Idaho High School Activities Association website at www.idhsaa.org, click on the Officials tab and follow the instructions. Registration is $40 before August 14 and $65 after that date.
