24th Raspberry Festival is Sunday
Join in a day of family fun at the 24th Annual Raspberry Festival on Sunday, August 7 at the Monastery of St. Gertrude, 465 Keuterville Road in Cottonwood, Idaho.
The day will begin at 8 a.m. with a 10K Fun Run and 5K Walk and a pancake breakfast. The fun continues all day starting at 9 a.m. with a kids’ carnival, live music, and an arts and crafts fair. The festival will also feature a car show, art show, and vintage sale — as well as museum and chapel tours. In addition, there will be educational exhibits on history, health, and other aspects of the community. Throughout the day enjoy ice cold raspberry lemonade, grilled hamburgers and polish sausages, BBQ beef sandwiches, and raspberry shortcake.
This year's Raspberry Festival will feature an art show! We are excited to display local creativity and celebrate the many talents in our community. The exhibit will be located in the Johanna Room of Spirit Center (big, red building just south of the main Monastery building). There is no entry fee and artists are responsible for any sales of their works. Please register at www.MyRaspberryFestival.org.
For the first time, the Raspberry Festival will feature a new, used, and vintage sale that will include rocks, gems, stones, salt & pepper shakers, antique tools, vases, bottles, dolls, toys, and much more.
If you are an arts and crafts vendor, there is still time to register your booth for the festival. Find more information and register at www.MyRaspberryFestival.org. There is also still time to enter the Show ‘n Shine Car, Truck, Bike, & Tractor Show where prizes will be awarded.
All proceeds for the Raspberry Festival benefit the Historical Museum at St. Gertrude. We invite YOU to participate! Show your art or cool car, enter the Fun Run and Walk, or simply show up to enjoy a day of friends and family. For more information and to register for events, visit www.MyRaspberryFestival.org.
