Another year is upon us. Kids are almost excited to go back to school, well maybe they are. The booster club is kicking off another year of supporting our students and athletes. Please join us at the burger barn on Friday night for dinner and a few items of clothing if you are looking. More clothing should be arriving in the future. Please contact Cara Uhlenkott with any suggestions of what you would like to see in the future. Booster Club membership drive is going strong right now. Families can join for $25 or individuals for $15. Contact Denise Uhlenkott for details. Those of you who wanted Stadium Chairs. Please confirm with me that you still want them. We have been trying to build a list over the last year to get to the minimum order of 36. I believe we can now order them and have them here within 2 months. Please contact Glenn Poxleitner at 208-983-4190 if you either want to order or if you wanted them in the last year to confirm that you still want them. I would like to order them as soon as possible. Many exciting events coming up, Football starts this Friday at home, the Volleyball team is playing well and meets Genesee and Troy this week. Prairie Cross Country has varsity team of boys and ten girls working to compete on our varsity team. Prairie High School has a great motivational speaker coming to work with the Kids on Wednesday September 14th. He will also be talking to parents and community members at 6:30 that evening at the High School. This is sponsored by Gear Up, which is a grant that Prairie Schools have benefited from over the last 10 years. Please come out and enjoy this great presentation. To close I would like to invite anyone who is interested in being active in the Booster Club to please come to our next meeting or contact any of the current officers.
