Pirates beat Lapwai in 4 games
The Prairie Lady Pirates had just one match this past week as they won a 4-set league match against Lapwai at Cottonwood Thursday, Sept. 8. Scores were 25-23, 25-23, 19-25, 25-19. Prairie had a more balanced effort than their earlier matches this season with Chaye Uptmor and Madison Pecarovich combining for 42 assists. Uptmor also led the team in kills with 11 while Mykaela McWilliams and Leah Higgins added 8 kills each. Prairie is now 3-4 overall and 2-2 in league play.
