earn medals at Potlatch
The Cottonwood Wrestling Club started action this last Saturday in Potlatch. Sixteen wrestlers attended the tournament and represented the prairie very well. After many tough matches, bumps and bruises, 8 wrestlers came away with medals. Chris Schumacher was our lone gold medalist winning all five of his matches. Placing second with silver medals was Devon Schultz, Jack Chambers, Payton Stamper, Dylan Uhlenkott, and Sierra McWilliams. Declan Bowen and Avery Schacher brought home bronze medals with their 3rd place finishes. Rounding out the team were Steel Uhlenkott, Grace Uhlenkott, Becket Bowen, Patrick Bowen, Michael Bowen, Derek Pack, Colt Kehler, and Merlin Famligetti. There is still time to join the Cottonwood Wrestling Club if you are interested. Practices are Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6:30 at the Auxiliary Gym in Cottonwood.
