event set for Orofino
The Idaho Department of Labor invites job seekers to attend a Free Hiring Event at the former Orofino Jr. High School: Wednesday, November 2 from 10am – 1pm. This is an excellent Opportunity for those who are currently unemployed or underemployed to meet with government and private employers who have current jobs to fill in Orofino, Kamiah, Grangeville and the Lewiston area. Representatives will be available to help job seekers learn how to complete the on line application process for open State and Federal positions. While other employers will be accepting applications at the event. Community Resource providers such as Vocational Rehabilitation, Clearwater Valley Hospital, Clearwater County Economic Development, and Share the Ride will be in attendance to provide information to job seekers about resources available to them. And LCSC Workforce Training will also be there with information about skill building and short term training available through their Workforce Training Program. Everyone is welcome.
