The 4th Annual Kamiah Holiday Family Chess Tournament had 24 participants at Summit Academy on December 10th, 2016. Although the weather, like the previous year, was very snowy, we had a good turnout. The Winners and their prizes follow: Overall Student Champions: 1st Place: Cody Wassmuth of Craigmont won $100 cash and he goes onto the perpetual trophy. 2nd Place: Alli Kohrman of Grangeville won $75 cash. 3rd Place: Torry Chmelik of Cottonwood won $50 cash and shared half with Ethan Oleary who tied with him. Adult Champion: Brandon Rehder of Cottonwood won $25 cash.
