983-2164 to Register Thurs., March 9, 6-8:30pm By: Taffy Kettenburg; Cost: $25 In Grangeville There are a lot of different knots for good reason. Some need to slip (think lasso), and others don’t. Sailors use different knots than anglers. Rescuers use a bowline knot which makes a strong loop for your foot so somebody can be hoisted. There are knots that are best used to fashion a tourniquet, ones that will allow you to fasten a line quickly and one that would safely anchor a swing to a tree branch. Learn them all! We’ll start with the easiest and work our way to the harder ones. Detailed handouts will be provided to help you remember what you learned. The instructor worked as a teacher for many years and children are welcome. Finding the Lost in Idaho County Tues. March 14th, 6 – 7:30 pm By: Lt.
