Central Idaho Art Association (CIAA) 50th Anniversary Annual Spring Show is May 4, 5, and 6. The show is hosted by the Bicentennial Historical Museum located at 305 N College, Grangeville, the show will be held in their Basement Level Gallery. Entries accepted Tuesday, May 2, 2017, 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm; art pick up is Saturday, May 6, at 4:00 pm, NO LATER THAN 4:30 pm or by special pre-arrangement. Entry fee is $4.00 per entry, limit of five entries per artist. All media are accepted, hung work must not exceed 10 pounds. Work must be original work, not previously shown, created within the past two years. Please, no classwork. Prizes: “Best of Show” $75, three each “Merit Award” $25, “25% off Custom Framing “Gallery Award”, daily “People’s Choice” $5, and a “Kid’s Choice” award $5. Ribbons awarded. CIAA is honored to have Judy Fairley as judge. Judge’s critique is Wednesday, May 3, at 4:30pm followed by Soiree with complimentary refreshment at 5:00pm. The critique is open to show artists and their guests only. Soiree is open to public, 5:00 to 7:00pm. Show hours are Thursday and Friday (May 4 and 5) 9:00am – 5:00pm, and Saturday (May 6), 10:00am through 4:00pm. Saturday at 5:00pm is a members-only dinner with CIAA Special Presentation beginning at 5:00pm.
