Heavenly Scent – A Soap Making Primer Sat. April 22nd, 9am-2:30pm By: Sr. Carlotta; Cost: $59 At the Monastery Create beautiful cold-process soup using updated methods and ingredients; learn how to mix, stir, fragrance, mold and trim the finished product. We’ll discuss safety & allergy tips, and how to compose your soap. You will make bars of soap to take home for yourself or as gifts and enjoy a wonderful lunch (part of the fee) in the Monastery dining room. Bed & Blessings Tour Sat. April 29th, 9:30am-1:00pm By: Sr. Carol Ann Wassmuth; Cost: $38 At the Monastery Have you ever wondered how a Monastery operates? Did you realize they are self-supporting? Do you have guests in town and would like something to do with them? Take a tour of the beautiful Monastery of St. Gertrude and their new Spirit Center and learn how they operate, the rules under which the Sisters live and other interesting facts.
