Joyce Sonnen was named Mother of the Year at the Prairie
Mother-Daughter Tea. She is shown with her daughter Laina, who wrote the
winning essay. We hope to be able to publish that essay once we receive

Quilts and other items made in Della Gehring’s sewing
class at Prairie Jr./Sr. High School were on display in the school library
during the Showcase Night last Wednesday, March 29. Click on each photo

Last week the Cottonwood City Crew were able to pour
the rest of the new concrete at the south end of the Community Hall. A
canopy is still to be built that would shield people who use this to access
the hall and the new kitchen door from the elements. Click on the photo
