wins two events at Orofino
Chaye Uptmor won both the 800 and 1600 meter runs in a 9-team track meet held at Orofino Thursday, April 13. She won the 800 in 2:31.63 and the 1600 in 6:06.71. Also winning for the girls team was Mykaela McWilliams in her first meet of the year in the 100 hurdles. She won in 18.03. The girls team also had a couple of relay team wins. The 4x200 team of Theresa Wemhoff, Jordyn Higgins, Laney Uhlenkott and McWilliams won with a time of 1:56.06 and the 4x400 team of Uhlenkott, Wemhoff, Uptmor and Higgins won with a time of 4:34.96. For the boys team Anthony Karel won the 800 meter run in 2:00.68 and Sean Spencer won the 1600 in 5:13.62. In other girls events Higgins was 2nd in the 400 meter dash in 1:06.31. Wemhoff was third in the 100 in 14.17. Ciara Chaffee was third in the 200 in 30.18, 4th in the 800 in 2:40.68 and fifth in the 400 in 1:11.0. Maria Schmidt was tied for 5th with Chaffee in the 400 in 1:11.0 and 20th in the 100 in 15.39. Kristyna Krogh was 4th in the 3200 in 13:53.64; 5th in the 1600 in 6:46.49 and 6th in the 800 in 3:04.15. Madison Ulmer was 5th in the discus at 9311 and 6th in the shot put at 262. Emma Gehring was 10th in the shot at 2410½ and 13th in the discus at 703. Bailie Gehring was 11th in the shot at 223 and 12th in the discus at 757. The 4x100 relay team of Wemhoff, Higgins, Uhlenkott and McWilliams was third in 55.34 and the medley relay team of Chaffee, Krogh, Jacey Rambo and Schmidt was third in 2:17.92. The girls team wound up placing second with 112.5 points, 12.5 behind first place Deary. In other boys events Spencer was 9th in the 100 in 12.41, third in the 300 hurdles in 45.26 and 10th in the long jump at 160. Karel was 11th in the 200 in 25.62 and 12th in the long jump at 155. Patrick Chmelik was 2nd in the high jump at 56, 6th in the triple jump at 363½ and 5th in the 400 in 56.28. Ryan Glimp was 2nd in the discus at 1344 and 6th in the shot put at 3610. Carson Schmidt was third in the shot put at 395, third in the discus at 11711 and 16th in the 100 in 13.16. Lucas Wemhoff was 4th in the 400 in 55.83, 4th in the long jump at 185, 7th in the 200 in 25.10 and 8th in the 100 in 12.14. Grant Gehring was 4th in the 3200 in 12:33.32, 5th in the 1600 in 6:02.87 and 15th in the 400 in 1:07.65. James Villamor was 6th in the 1600 in 6:16.56, 7th in the 3200 in 13:33.15 and 17th in the 400 in 1:18.46. Raice Dalgliesh was 11th in the 400 in 1:00.22, 16th in the 200 in 26.79 and 18th in the 100 in 13.28. Luis Samper-Flores was 13th in the 400 in 1:03.91 and 20th in the 200 in 28.31. Hayden Uhlenkott was 8th in the discus at 10310 and 22nd in the shot at 263½. Caleb McWilliams was 10th in the shot put at 331½, 16th in the discus at 880, 23rd in the 100 in 13.84 and 23rd in the 200 in 28.78. Tucker hibbard was 11th in the discus at 977 and 17th in the shot at 293½. Ryan Arnzen was 23rd in the shot At 2510½ and 24th in the discus at 558. The 4x100 relay team of Chmelik, Dalgliesh, Caleb McGee and Samper-Flores was 6th in 50.47. The 4x200 team of McGee, Gehring, Karel and Samper-Flores was 7th in 1:50.05.
