signs with Blue Mountain CC
Gavin T. Branson, a graduating senior from Prairie High School, has recently accepted a scholarship with Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton, Ore. There he will join the basketball team as a point guard. Basketball has always been his passion. While attending Prairie High School he played point guard on the basketball team which took 2nd place at the 1A Division 1 State Tournament. He also played in the 2017 All-Star game and Border Battle game. Gavin is the son of Bobbi Branson, who lives in Cottonwood with his brother, Tajh and Scott Branson of Kingfisher, OK. His grandparents are Debbie Branson of Spokane Valley, Wash., Dave Branson of Nezperce and Dusty and LaLisa Thomason of Craigmont.
