meeting set for old Elementary School
The Cottonwood School District will be hosting a second community meeting to discuss the next steps for repurposing the former Prairie Elementary School building. The meeting will be held in the auxiliary gym on the former Prairie Elementary School site on August 29th starting at 7 pm. Steve Gill with the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and Christine Frei with Clearwater Economic Development will be presenting information on the removing of environmental barriers to the building, the results of the community listening sessions that were held in March, and the next steps that the Cottonwood School District will be taking to stimulate the sale and reuse of the elementary school and grounds. Time will be available for questions. Any individuals interested in the future reuse of the site or in the purchase of the site should attend. |
