turn out for Summit volleyball
Summit Academy has 9 girls out for varsity volleyball this season as well as a new head coach. Shirley Stubbers takes over as head coach with Jamie Johnson returning as assistant coach. Lauren Stubbers and Lucy Osborne are the seniors on the team. Juniors are Taylor Lustig and Kayla Rehder. Hailey Stubbers, Lexi Currier, Erin Chmelik and Jessie Sonnen are sophomores. All are returnees from last year’s team except Sonnen, who is new to the team. Claira Osborne is the one freshman on the team. The team gets their regular season underway with a league match at Deary Thursday, August 24.
