Summit girls win opener
The Summit Lady Patriots dropped the first set but rallied to win at Deary in the season and league opener, 19-25, 25-10, 25-9, 27-25 Thursday, August 24.
After dropping the first set Summit played very well the next two games routing the Mustangs each time then held off Deary in a dramatic fourth game to avoid a winner-take-al fifth game.
The Summit JV’s also beat Deary, winning both games played.
Summit is 1-0 on the season and 1-0 in league play.
