& Brew fundraiser set for Saturday
Prairie Community Library, as a stand-alone entity, receives NO TAX dollars, and is an all-volunteer, non-profit library. Our Library is always striving to be more active in service to our communities' needs. For example, we have recently updated our computer system; we offer a reading program during summer months, and an after-school program during the school year. In addition, we continue providing new items to our patrons every month. Come join in the fun of the Brats & Brew Fest library fundraiser this Saturday, October 21, beginning at 5 pm, dinner to follow at 6 pm. Auctions, wine raffle, music and dancing to follow. A Killgore's Adventures jet boat trip for 2 has been added to the list of auction items, along with a few more surprises.
