hold senior night
Prairie’s football game against Potlatch set for last Friday was cancelled as Potlatch had just 7 healthy players available. Instead of the game, a Senior Night ceremony was held starting at 5 p.m. to honor the 6 seniors, Dereck Arnzen, Jacob Stubbers, Hunter Chaffee, Jace Perrin, Jayce Huling, and Nick Mager and their parents. After the Senior Night ceremony the winners of the bleacher fundraising drawing were announced. They were: 1st Prize-Half Beef – Mark Anderson 2nd Prize-Rifle – Mike Schumacher 3rd Prize-2 Cord Firewood – Phillip Sarbacher 4th Prize-$200 Cash – Denise Uhlenkott 5th Prize-$200 Cash – Scott Perrin. This week the Pirates will play their final regular season game at Lapwai with 2nd place in the league on the line. The winner will finish 2nd in league and will play at Wilder in a first round play-off game next week. The loser will finish third and will play at Oakley next week. The winners of those two games will face off the following week. Even though the game was cancelled, Prairie football still held Senior Night ceremonies Friday evening.
