7
turned out for wrestling
In their biggest turnout in several years, the Prairie Wrestling team has 7 turned out as of Monday, Nov. 27. Jace Perrin the lone senior, is also the lone returner from last year’s team. The other 6 turned out for the high school team are all freshmen. There is also a 7th grader turned out for the junior high team. Lane Remacle, Logan Wimer, Dalton Ross, William Hooper, Tristin Staneart and Sierra McWilliams are the freshmen with Tage Perrin the lone junior high wrestler. McWilliams said there was another girl interested in turning out but she needs a medical clearance and he couldn’t say for sure whether that would happen. Pat McWilliams returns as coach with Kade Perrin and Scott Perrin also helping. Below is the schedule for the season, although Coach McWilliams said there could be some duals added if teams decide they want to host one. With 6 freshmen out of 7 wrestlers coach Pat McWilliams was going over some of the basics of starting a match with his team. In the circle are Dalton Ross and Sierra McWilliams. Others from left are Jace Perrin, Lane Remacle, Logan Wimer, Will Hooper and Tristin Staneart. Wrestlers pair off and do some neutral positions starts. In the purple shirt in front is 7th grader Tage Perrin paired off with Dalton Ross. Lane Remacle and Logan Wimer are paired off as are Will Hooper and Tristin Staneart.
