Jace Perrin took 2nd overall in the 182 lbs. weight class at the George Wild Wrestling Tournament at Kellogg Dec. 8-9. Perrin opened against Kyle Hueth of C.V. and won by pin in 46 seconds. In the semifinals he faced Peyton Whipple, also of C.V., and won a 6-0 decision. In the championship match had faced Garrett Graves of Eureka and lost by pin in 53 seconds. 106 lbs.-Sierra McWilliams lost her opening round match to Austin McKinnon of Wallace by pin in 5:02. She then had byes into the consolation final where she lost by pin in 4:01 to Carver Copley of Bonners Ferry. 113 lbs.-Dalton Ross lost his first match to Caleb Barger of Grangeville by a 6-14 decision. He then lost to Nate Bohl of Post Falls by pin in 24 seconds. 132 lbs.-Logan Wimer had to face the #1 seed and eventual champion in his first match and lost by pin in 24 seconds to Jesse Campbell of Kellogg. In the consolation bracket he lost by pin in 17 seconds to Bret Raymond of C.V. 138 lbs.-Lane Remacle lost by pin in 2:44 in his opening match to Gavin Sherar of Coeur d’Alene. In the consolation bracket he lost to John White of Lakeland by pin in 55 seconds. 152 lbs.-Tristin Staneart lost by pin to Eric Anderson of Orofino in 21 seconds in his opening round match. In the consolation bracket he lost to Hunter Szydowski of Timberlake by pin in 1:13. As a team Prairie placed 15th with 20 points.
