County Republican Central Committee chair and vice-chair resign
At the January meeting of the Idaho County Republican Central Committee, the resignation of Chairman Jon Menough and the Vice-Chairman Kevin Duden were received. Both have resigned due to accepting employment in other states. The Idaho Republican Party rules require a 30-day notice prior to an election to replace these two gentlemen. An election is scheduled for the regular meeting of the ICRCC on February 20th at 6:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Super 8 Motel in Grangeville. The newly elected Chairman and Vice-Chairman will serve the remainder of Jon and Kevin’s term until the May primary when the Committee will be re-organized. Upcoming events: The annual Lincoln Day Dinner will be sponsored by Idaho and Lewis Counties Republican Committees jointly. Our dinner will be held March 9th in Greencreek starting at 5:00 p.m. With a social hour and silent auction. During dinner, introduction of all candidates’ present will be made. After dinner there will be a question and answer forum of the Lt. Governor Candidates. Tickets are available from any Precinct Committee member or by contacting our Secretary.
