Pirates win District opener
The Prairie Lady Pirates had little difficulty winning their District
Tournament opener as they jumped out to a 19-0 lead on their way to a 54-16
win over 5th seeded Potlatch Wednesday, Jan. 31 at the LCSC Activity Center.

Update--Prairie lost to Lapwai 55-57 in overtime in the District
Championship game then beat Genesee 43-29 in the second place game. They
play Wallace at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 at Post Falls High School for
a state tournament berth.

The Summit kindergarten class recently sponsored their
annual baby bottle campaign to raise funds to support The Hope Center.
During the four day campaign, Summit students raised $1029.22 for the Center.
The kindergarten delivered the funds and toured the center on Monday.
After their tour, they stopped at The Hangout for milkshakes before returning
