Preschool screening set The Prairie School District will be holding a Developmental Preschool Screening for children ages 2½ through Age 5, Thursday, May 31 at Prairie Elementary School. It will take place between 10 am and 2 pm. Contact Prairie Elementary to schedule an appointment at (208) 962-3251 It is run by Michelle Bledsoe & Carletta Allen. Crosscountry Pirate Run set for June 2 The Prairie Crosscountry team’s 2nd Annual 5K Pirate Run will be June 2nd, starting at 9:00 a.m. The race begins and ends at the elementary school. Nuxoll There will be a benefit barbecue at the Mini-Village on Thursday, May 31 from 11 a.m. until the food runs out. The barbecue will be put on by The Rib Guy & Gal and will go towards Dick F. Nuxoll’s medical expenses from his recent accident. There will also be a 50-50 drawing at the end of the benefit. Everyone is welcome . Youth football camp planned The Prairie Football team and coaches will be putting on a Youth Football Camp June 4th-6th from 12 to 3pm at the football field. The camp will be open to Prairie students entering 5th through 8th grade. The camp costs $36 which will include a football, t-shirt and prizes.
