Denice Haener located a beautiful old photo in some
of her mother-in-law’s old boxes. They would like to find the woman in
the photo or her family so that they can return the photo to them. It is
an 8x10 and is in perfect condition. It appears to have been hand-colored.
Her first name is Dolores, and she is from Cottonwood. She would be in
her mid-nineties. Denice has heard that her family owned the movie theater
in town (probably in the 1940’s). (If you know who she is or her
family, contact the Chronicle at 208-962-3851 or by email at cotchron@qwestoffice.net
and we will relay that information to Denice.)

The photo above, originally from the 1952 Cottonwood
High School yearbook was scanned by Gary Asker of Lewiston. It shows the
1952 Cottonwood Mustangs basketball team that won the District Championship
that year. Click on the photo for a larger view.
