in Residence to be in Cottonwood
Christian Winn, Idaho’s Writer in Residence, will visit St. Maries, Harrison and Cottonwood in mid-July to present readings and conduct a craft talk and workshop for local writing and reading enthusiasts. On Tuesday, July 17th, Winn will travel to Cottonwood to present a reading at the Monastery of St. Gertrudes. The reading, followed by a Q&A, discussion and reception will be from 7-8 pm. And will be in the Johanna Room at the Spirit Center. Events are free and the public is encouraged to attend. The Idaho Commission on the Arts is the official state agency for the support & development of the arts in Idaho. The Commission promotes excellence, education in the arts, access to the arts, and community investment in the arts. Its professional staff administers and develops the programs and services of the agency, assists grant applicants, and provides technical assistance. |
