The new bleachers at the Football Field/Track are
nearing completion. The plan is to get them finished in time for Prairie’s
first home football game which will be against Troy on Friday, Sept. 7.

Work has been done this summer to build a new parking
lot on the west side of St. Mary’s Church. This photo was taken last week
and a layer of gravel has since been added to get it ready for asphalt.

Sunflowers that are being grown by Darrell, Mary and
Brent Uhlorn of Uhlorn Family Farms. This is not a crop that is normally
grown in this area. The picture was taken on property by Frei Hill on Hwy
95. These sunflowers will be harvested for bird seed and sent to a market
