Learn the difference between a will and a trust as well as the burdens of each. Long-term care financial decisions, living wills and powers of attorney are also part of the estate planning process. Learn the plan that is perfect for your family. Protect Your Computer Thurs. Nov. 15th; 6:30-8pm By: Elijah Zeida; Cost: $35 Learn how to protect your privacy, block hackers and stop malware. This is a hands-on class so bring your laptop and power cord. From Plants to Tinctures, Tonics & Salves Sat. Nov. 17th; 9am-2:30pm By: Sr. Agnes Reichlin & Sr. Carlotta Fontes; Cost: $45 Spend a day at the beautiful Monastery of St. Gertrude picking rose hips, then, prepare them and begin the process of making a tincture rich in Vitamin C to take home. The class will discuss other plants, tonics and tinctures that promote good health. Salve-making is discussed if time allows. Dinner at noon (included in fee) is in the Monastery dining room. Dec. 5th; 8:30-11:30am By: Dale Brege; Cost: $35 Learn the basics of Excel and begin to analyze an assortment of information and numbers covering data entry, formatting and basic calculations.
