Things Are True

In fact, the only thing wrong, according to today’s culture, is to say something is wrong. If you do, You are the problem. We have looked at one Christmas Absolute, the INCARNATION of Christ, and determined that according to Scripture, He is God. This week, let’s look at the REVELATION of Christ. In John 14:9, Jesus said “he who hath seen me, hath seen the Father”, and it drove the Pharisees nuts. In chapter 8, Jesus kept referring ro Himself as “I Am”, for which they charged Him with blasphemy. “For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;”- Colo. 1:19. In Matt. 28, what we call the Great Commission, Jesus says “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth”. Phil. 2:10 tells us that ultimately, at the very name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Listen, there is no power struggle in heaven between God the Father, and God the Son. We are the ones that fight about it down here. Many tell me they believe in God, but are seeking Him via some other venue. No matter what you “Believe”, the Bible says there is but One Way to God – John 14:6. In John 5:23, Jesus says: “He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father which hath sent him.” This is Exclusive to Jesus. He shares it with no one. (Remember the first Commandment). “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” - 1st Tim. 2:5. The very Fullness of God has been Revealed to us, and we celebrate this (Time Splitting) event, at Christmas. God Bless. |
