St. Mary's Hospital & Clinics welcomes new P.A.
John Trueblood, a Physician Assistant and retired Navy Corpsman, will begin seeing patients at St. Mary’s Clinics in Craigmont, on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Nezperce on Tuesdays and Fridays and in our Cottonwood clinic on Thursdays. John Trueblood
Trueblood grew up in Nampa, ID and graduated from Nampa High School in 1984. John is the grandson of Idaho “royalty”, Ted Trueblood, who was an outdoor writer for Field & Stream magazine from 1941 to 1982, and helped create the Idaho Wildlife Federation. John served as a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy, served in the Gulf War with the 1st Battalion, 5th Regimen, and also served in Iraq in 2005. He retired from the military in 2011.
He and his family previously lived in California but recently made the move back to his home state of Idaho. His wife, Heidi, has a home-based business and makes and sells “lotions and potions”, soy candles, and other handcrafted items. They have five children, John (28), Ayrine (26), Hannah (15), Sydney (12), and Hunter (8). The three youngest will be attending Highland in Craigmont.
John and his family are excited to immerse themselves in the culture and the communities of, and surrounding, Craigmont, Cottonwood, and Nezperce. Trueblood enjoys being involved in local Chamber meetings and various other clubs. If you see him around, please extend a warm welcome!
