Basketball awards
Prairie boys basketball awards were given out Monday,
March 18 at the Community Hall. Front from left are Zach Rambo, JV Mr.
Defense; Kyle Schwartz, JV Pirate Award; Damian Forsmann, varsity Mr. Clutch
and Cole Schlader, varsity 6th Man and all-state tournament 6th man. He’s
also holding the State Championship trophy. Back from left are Dean Johnson,
JV most improved; Devin Ross, varsity co-captain, most assists, most blocked
shots, defensive player of the year, all-White Pine League 2nd team and
all-state tournament first team; Spencer Schumacher, varsity co-captain,
most rebounds, offensive player of the year, most valuable, all-White Pine
League 1st team and all-state tournament most valuable; Dylan Schumacher,
varsity most improved; Sam Mager, varsity Pirate award and all-state tournament
honorable mention; and Brody Hasselstrom, JV most valuable. Not pictured
is Tyler Wemhoff, JV Mr. Hustle.
