Saturday, March 30th, marked the beginning of a new
chapter for Carol J. Schaeffer as she turned the page of retirement. I
want to thank everyone that came to wish her well after serving the mail
route out of Ferdinand for over 25 years. There were many laughs, tears,
and stories shared and she will be missed! Date correction from previous
edition. Retirement party was announced for May 30th when it should have
been March 30th. Photo and write-up submitted by: Lori M. Schmidt-Postmaster/Cottonwood.

Summit Academy Jr Hi students recently attended GREAT
(Getting Ready for Engineering and Technology) Day at Schweitzer Engineering
Laboratories in Lewiston. The day included working with engineers
at SEL on developing an app, working hands-on with electrical models and
touring the SEL facilities. During the tour students were able to
watch the 3-D metal printer and robotics in action, which all the students
agreed was the highlight of the day. Pictured are Luke Stubbers, Cody Wassmuth,
Noah Beckman and an SEL engineer discussing parallel and series circuits.
