Come learn about Nez Perce culture at the following events: June 1—10 a.m.-2 p.m., Moccasin Making Demonstration June 15—10 a.m.-2 p.m., Moccasin Making Demonstration June 22—10 a.m.-11 a.m., Cultural Ecology Talk July 6—10 a.m.-2 p.m., Drum Making Demonstration July 13—10 a.m.-11 a.m., Preserving the Language Talk July 20—10 a.m.-2 p.m., Drum Making Demonstration August 3—10 a.m.-2 p.m., Beadwork Demonstration August 10—10 a.m.-11 a.m., Butterfly Talk August 10—8 p.m.- 11p.m., Night Sky Program (Perseid) August 17—10 a.m.-2 p.m., Beadwork Demonstration The Spalding Visitor Center is 12 miles east of Lewiston at 39063 U.S. Highway 95. The Visitor Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Park Admission is free year round.
