HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) is a student organization whose mission is to promote career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of it to all people. It is the only student organization that is 100% focused on health care and is committed to building a pipeline for healthcare professionals. On April 10-12, 2019, the HOSA state competition was held in Boise. Five PHS HOSA students- Ciara Chaffee, Kyleigh Duclos, Sydnee Bruegeman, Hailey Stubbers and Madison Shears- placed in the top five in the state competition in Human Growth and Development and Healthcare Issues, qualifying them for the National Competition this summer! These five members are responsible for paying for their travel and expenses to this international competition. To help offset these costs, we are holding a fundraiser at the Blue Fox Theater Drive-In on June 13th starting at 9 pm. We will be showing The Sandlot and The Greatest Showman for $20 a carload. All admission prices go to help students pay for their travel expenses.  |
