The Prairie Community Library’s Summer Reading Program
started last week with lots of fun! The theme is dinosaurs. On Wednesday
we learned about paleontologists and got to dig up our own dinosaurs. The
following day, Thursday, we found out about fossils and how they form.
The kids even got to make their own fossils! On Friday, we learned about
the giant herbivore dinosaurs, which include the largest land animals to
walk on earth! Then, on Monday, we learned about the impressive carnivorous
dinosaurs. The Reading Program will continue on Wednesday June 19 and Thursday
June 20 from 9:30 - 11:30. Hope to see you there! Click on each photo
