For the third straight year, Prairie High School was
the Schools of Excellence winner among 1A-Division 1 schools. Superintendent
Rene’ Forsmann and PHS principal Jon Rehder are shown receiving the award

Representatives from Public Health-Idaho North Central
District visited the local Fit and Fall Proof exercise group on Monday.
Deb Merica and Kate Wilson, program coordinators gave a presentation on
how to pick up items off of the floor without causing injury. Buddy
Hood and Lorraine Nuxoll, program participants watch the demonstration.
Classes are held at the Cottonwood Community Hall on Monday and Thursday
mornings from 9:30 – 10:30. The class is designed for older adults who
want to improve their health and reduce their risk of falling. Photo
