On Sept. 5th some of the ladies of the Prairie Retirement
Condominium Residents and their Coffee Friends were treated to a day out
from several local Cottonwood businesses. The Hangout gave free ice
cream cones for them to enjoy on their drive to the river. The return trip
they sipped on a sweet bottle of wine donated by Rieners Grocery, Gary
also sent a bottle of champagne for them as well. As they got back into
town they stopped at The Habit where they enjoyed their drink of choice
"on the house". Before stepping back into the limo they were given beautiful
long stem roses donated by Cottonwood Foods. Transportation was donated
by Lockett Limousine. Lockett Limousine says they would gladly do it again
if the same anonymous benefactor does the coordinating, he did an amazing
thing. Thank you for thinking up this grand idea and making it happen.
The ladies sure appreciated it. Pictured from left are Theresa Sonnen,
Claudia Gehring, Anna Gehring, Barbara Rehder, Lorraine Nuxoll, Vera Holthaus
and Lockett’s Limousine chauffeur Clayton Lockett. Click on the photo for
