Shoot winners
Representing Prairie in the Elks National Hoop Shoot on December 14th in Grangeville on December 14, will be Kaylie Lockett (12) and Noah Behler (13) in the 12 and 13 year old division, Hailey Hanson (11) and John Lightfield (11) in the 10-11 year old division, and Aubree Riener (9) and Koyle Jones (8) for the 8 and 9 year olds. This program is designed to provide an interesting, character-building, competitive program for all girls and boys in the contest regardless of their previous athletic competition or abilities. This nationwide, sanctioned program gives these youngsters an opportunity for spirited competition, fine relationships with their peers, and travel statewide, regionally and nationally- at a minimal expense to their parents. Not only are the participants involved in this wholesome, individual-effort program, but parents, classmates, teachers and community are included. Good luck to all the participants!
