games are held
Five Prairie players and one St. John Bosco player were part of the District 2 All-Star Games held at Lapwai Monday, March 9. In the girls game were Prairie’s India Peery and Ciara Chaffee and St. John Bosco’s Lexi Currier. In the boys game were Prairie’s Sam Mager, Damian Forsmann and Derik Shears. Peery scored the first 3 points for the girls team and wound up with 9 points. Chaffee scored 6 and Currier did not score as their South team broke open a close game in the fourth quarter to win 71-56. For the boys Forsmann sank 3 treys and scored 11 points while Shears scored 5 and Mager scored 3 on his first 3-pointer of the season. The North team won that game 103-97.

St. John Bosco’s Lexi Currier makes a pass during the girls All-Star Game at Lapwai on Monday. The Border Battle All Star is Monday, March 16th at Clarkston HS. The girls game starts at 6:00, followed by the boys game. India Peery and Ciara Chaffee will represent the Idaho girls team. Lori Mader will be coaching. Derik Shears and Damian Forsmann will be representing the Idaho boys team. Update-these games have been cancelled.
