| Prairie Rodeo team competes at District Prairie High & Jr High School Rodeo Team: Molly Johnson, Owen McIntire & Laramie Richardson. Prairie High School Rodeo Team is part of District 3 Idaho High School Rodeo Association. PHS Rodeo Team competes in several rodeos Fall through Summer against other students in District 3, compiling points throughout the season, the students placing in the top 6 places in High School Rodeo will advance to State Finals to compete against the top 6 from all districts in Idaho. The state finalists have the opportunity to advance to National High School Rodeo in Lincoln, NE or Silver State International Rodeo in Winnemucca, NV. Molly Johnson competed in: Breakaway Roping, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, Cow Cutting & Light Rifle Competition. She qualified to participate at the Idaho High School Rodeo State Finals in Team Roping, Cow Cutting & Light Rifle Competition. Molly's Team Roping Partner is Jesse St. Onge of Culdesac. Owen McIntire competed in: Chute Dogging, Goat Tying & Ribbon Roping. With overall points for the season Owen won first place in Chute Dogging & Ribbon Roping for Jr High & is invited to participate in Jr High Rodeo State Finals to be held in Pocatello, Idaho. Laramie Richardson competed in: Breakaway Roping, Goat Tying, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending & Ribbon Roping. With overall points for the season Laramie won first place in Ribbon Roping for Jr High & is invited to participate in Jr High Rodeo State Finals to be held in Pocatello, Idaho.
