Cross Country turnout The Prairie Cross Country team has 16 runners turned out for the high school team, 8 boys and 8 girls, at press time this week. Others may be added once school starts. They may also add a junior high team. That gives both the boys a girls a full team to compete with, something they didn’t have last year. Returnees for the boys team are Kyle Schwartz, Justin Lockett, Tyler Wemhoff and Morgan Poxleitner. New to the team are Zach Rambo, Lee Forsmann, Blake Uptmor and Zane Uptmor. Returning for the girls team are Kyleigh Duclos, Leann Lightfield and Mattie Lustig. Kerri Villamor is back after missed last season with an injury. New additions are Meagan Fowler, Katteri Duman, Lizzy Severns and Katrina George. Duclos is the only returning state qualifier. Returning as coaches are Glenn Poxleitner, Dave Young and Jenny Arnzen. The team’s first scheduled competition is Sept. 10 at the Nezperce Invite. They are looking at possibly hosting their own meet and may add other local meets
