Jack Uptmor, Rick Johnson and Jerry Richardson of the Cottonwood Lions Club with a new sign for the Centennial Garden. The old one was starting to rot at the bottom. Richardson cut the board and painted it and Evan Schwartz of the sign painting class at Prairie High School did the lettering. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Besides installing the new sign, the 3 Lions Club members also strung Christmas lights at the Centennual Garden. Jerry Richardson and Jack Uptmor are shown. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Prairie football awards were given out Wednesday, Dec. 9. Plaque winners from left are: Trenton Lorentz, JV Defensive Lineman of the Year; Noah Behler, JV Pirate Award; Wyatt Ross, JV Offensive Player of the Year and JV Most Valuable; Chase Kaschmitter, JV Offensive Lineman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year; Tayden Hibbard, varsity Defensive Player of the Year; Brody Hasselstrom, varsity Offensive Player of the Year; Cole Schlader, Varsity Most Valuable; Dean Johnson, Offensive Lineman of the Year and Defensive Lineman of the Year and Dalton Ross, varsity Pirate Award.
